Abdul Ghani As a Chapter Lead - Tauranga
Abdul Ghani – I am Abdul Ghani, me and my wife with our two daughters Anaya 13, Ariene 10 and a our Son Arham 4 are living in Tauranga Bay of Plenty since February 2018. We migrated from Sadiqabad Pakistan directly to Tauranga in early 2018. We were living in a community of 600 house in a Township of Fatima Fertilizer Company Ltd. I served for FFCL in Multan and Sadiqabad for 13years on the position of Section Head. However I belong to Larkana Town one of the greatest city of Sindh province of Pakistan.
Currently I am working with the responsibility of Engineering Manager with “The Lines Company” a power distribution company in Waikato
By profession I am an Electrical Engineer, done my graduation from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Pakistan. Having 23 years of experience by serving for companies i.e. SIEMENS, Karachi Electric Supply Corporation, British Petroleum Pakistan and Fatima Fertilizer Sadiqabad Pakistan.
We are few families in Tauranga but being few we are actually one family with great bonding to each other. We do celebrate family events in Tauranga including Pakistan day and other Pakistani events with proud. Further I am sure on a broader platform of SSNZ, we can make Sindhi Cultural day and other community events better and effective by supporting each other under the umbrella of SSNZ.
I came to know that SSNZ is looking for the representation in each region around the New Zealand. In this regard I am pleased to offer my support for the Pakistani community being a SSNZ representative in Tauranga for the Bay of Plenty region.
